Knife Class :: Vegetables

Do you have knife-itis? The fear of chopping your finger off into the finely diced onions? No worries, I can help you! In this 2 hour class, you will learn technique and best practices for becoming a pro with a chef's knife. We will practice different kinds of cuts on vegetables and herbs of all shapes and sizes. At the end of class, you can sit back with a bag of chips & enjoy your freshly made guacamole, pico de gallo, and chimmichurri.

Prior to class, you will receive an email with a grocery list, equipment list, and recipes to prepare for your class. Be sure to purchase class ingredients and have a sharp chef's knife and cutting board. For Austin residents I recommend a knife sharpening service by Chef Chase & Amelia Evans.

After class Chef Maribel is available for questions via email and social media channels.
